Dear Sangeeta,
I am definitely shocked to hear your OB experience in US.
If you have had LMP on July 27 then you are just entered 5th week or about to finish the same as of today. You Dr. should have taken things easy with positive beta-hCG than getting overworked. Usually patients get relief by looking at Drs. face and the way they look at your case. If your Dr. seems cool while analyzing your case you will be relieved. If dr. go for more tests you sure will get worried, and I think this was absolutely wrong time to go for ultrasound, when just in 4weeks.
Take it easy for about another 10 to 12 days and redo the ultrasound. If you can see fetal pole or fetus with heart pounding (with ultrasound not by doppler) you should be very happy.
Your Dr. should not have mentioned word about non-uterine pregnancy, usually this is a type of pregnancy called Ectopic pregnancy, telling the one your Dr. suspected. I do not think you have Ectopic pregnancy, I believe you are a normal pregnancy case and do not think on how to resolve Ectopic pregnancy. By the way, if she did ultrasound then she would see if the pregnancy is Uterine (normal) or Ectopic (outside uterus). The fact she kept quiet indicates you need to wait to see fetus and you are not likely to be a patient of Ectopic pregnancy. So RELAX.
Talk to us here and your Dr. in India. If possible go for second opinion or if you have another Dr. in your area in the insuarance network. Personally I prefer Dr. who makes patient feel comfortable than getting panicked.
Feel free to ask anything.
Archie
