i have a 14 month old toddler who is still drinking her milk from bottle i tried gvng her in sipper but she doesnt drink? wat should i do to make her drink from sipper? jes replied. I gave milk in bottle to my baby till she was 16 monthd old.Now she is 17 month old.I used to give even fruit juice too in bottle.WHen she was 15 month old i tried giving juice in a small glass/cup,at first she rejected it.But then slowly she started taking in the glass after 10-12 days.And i tried it everyday till she took the glass.AS i was suceesfull in making her drink juice in the glass i stopped giving her milk in bottle when she was 16 months old.It did take about 2 weeks to start drinking in glass again.Here too i practised it daily.Remebr to keep the bottles out of her sight,or they will cry when they see the bottle.I throwed away the bottles.Buti did make sure that she gets her calcium in other ways,when she didnt get to bottle.She liked curd,so i used to give her lott of curds.And ragi,banana powder daily too with lots of milk in it.Hope this helps. mandeep replied. I dont think there i anyhting wrong she is only 14 months old dear. my sons (16 1/2 month old ) still take his bottle n even my cousions son who is 2 and half year old still take bottle.honestly i have not even thought of getting rid of bottle yet.i know some who manage to get rid of bottle n there child went off the milk and your daughter need milk for her growth n development. rest up to you.
