I need someone to help me out with my question. I have had a miscarriage early last year and we started trying now again. My period was to start on sat - the 22nd but has still not started. It has never been late before this except when I was pregnant the last time. I took the pregnancy test yesterday and today both in the morning. Yesterday there was a faint line but today there was only one line. What does this mean?

I have taken the EPT ( First Response) early morning and 1 day got a positive, next day negative. This is so confusing.

Dear Ritika,
I have never heard of EPT First Response. EPT standard is one you should use.

If you do not see lines in three minutes and you know that you did not urinate at least 4 hours before taking test then you are less likely pregnant.

If the one test was weak and later one is negative, provided data is clear buy the observations made in the very recent test.

It may be little early to pick up test. EPT detects 50 IU of hCG and if you are below yet pregnant then you are less likely to get a strong positive. What you should do is to repeat test each 48 hours. If periods are one week late then give a call to your gynecologist to investigate whether you need some other assistance.
