Hi shilpie
I am in the same boat as yours........My husband also has the normal sperm count and the doc could not find any specific problem with me too except that my testosterone is a little on the higher side..........I do not know if its bcos of this that i have facial hair growth( very little) ......i was on clomid 50 mg last month with no result..........This month the dose was 100 mg and the u/s on cd 12 shwed a follicle 10 mm.......The req size is 18 mm to give an HSG shot and induce ovulation .........so doc has askde me to do u/s on Cd 15 and then go for HSG followed by IUI..........The doc says that clomid with IUi has better chances than clomid with intercourse.......i am just sharing my experience .....hope it helped......
Keep ur spirits up .........wish u good luck

Dear Shilpi,
If your spouse is found to bear normal sperm count and problems were associated with ovulation to cause delay in conceiving then you can follow regular intercourse while on clomid.

IUI will enhance chances of fertilization, this will avoid any requirements of mucus, which help sperm to swim through fallopian tube.

Good luck
Archie
