Thanks JRG!! I have chosen Madras Medical Mission. They are tooo slow. Everytime we go there, we should dedicate half a day there, though ur time wit the doc would be for only 5-10 mins... But we' re still planning to go ahead with them because of the many good reviews :)

I would suggest that you pick Madras Medical Mission over Ishwarya.

Please look for the following when you are looking at an infertility centre. They should have their own on site embroyologist, they should have specialists available there. They should be able to answer all your questions. Do not pay many lakhs up front. You do not need immediate surgery - please get a second opinion if that is suggested.

thanks for the quick and detailed response .Actually i am new to chennai .heard about it from 2-3 known people here .also went to GG but the attitude of Dr. put me off .She was not listening or explaning anything just trying to show that she is doing favour in giving me time .
I have been advised IVF here bcoz the sperm count of my husband is very low so there is no other way except IVF .I tried with 2 many medicines in Delhi also but nothing worked .My precious time got wasted .As for 2 many test here i counter that since all my delhi reports are ok (only prob. count ) no test was done on me .
Let us see what happens .Anyways thanks once again for the input .

I am saying that you need to do your research and my research shows that they are not the best available in the area. Unless things have changed since the last time that I researched:
- they do not have an embroyologist on site (no guarantee that they will do a good job or replace the right embryo)
- they have traveling doctors (no one that is available for you)
- no specialists specifically trained in reproductive medicine

I do not know these for facts but I have heard that they do unnecessary tests and also make you pay for medication that you may not need. That is that they will do an IVF even if you don´ t need it, so they can make more and " guarantee" success.

Again, these are only things that I have heard and do not know for a fact. Since you are already in it I would suggest that you go ahead with it. Ask for guarantees that the gametes transfered are going to be yours. Tell them that you will test. That should make sure that you will get the right one transferred.

Can I ask you how you heard about Ishwarya? Good luck with the cycle and wish you all the best.
