Hi Priya,

Don' t worry, the colds are tough to deal with but they also make the babies stronger to deal with the next one. They have to get the immunity by getting the cold.

One stop solution to help them breathe better: use steam to humidify your babies room. Make sure you keep a steamer / humidifier in the room. That will keep the room moist and that helps them sleep better in the colds.

As far as the weather is concerned, just make sure baby is very well clothed with inners etc. Also, make sure he is not exposed to cool air immediately after a head bath - dry his hair as quickly after the bath as possible, if possible in the bath itself, dry him and then bring him out, and clothe him very quickly.

Don' t worry he' ll be fine.
