Babies need a Change

A crying baby needs to be comforted. If you are unable to comfort her by regular means, try something different. Here we give some ideas on how to comfort a crying baby.

Give the baby a fresh face and a new set of arms

If you have been struggling to comfort your wailing baby in vain, you should consider handing her over to somebody else the other parent, a friend or a relative. Your inability to comfort your child invariably leads you to exhibit signs of stress and fatigue. Your baby will be quick to notice your tension and frustration and will respond with more tears. It will be a relief for both you and the baby if somebody else takes over. Remember that sometimes a new broom sweeps clean.

Provide some entertainment

Some babies have a low threshold for boredom. They are not content to sit and watch the world go by. They want to be a part of things and you have to ensure that they are kept busy. You have to make the effort to include them in your daily routine. This may involve carrying them around and explaining to them what you are up to, finding toys and other objects in the environment to keep them amused.

Give the baby some fresh air

Taking your baby outdoors will often dramatically improve her mood. Taking her for a drive or a walk in her baby carrier or push-chair should produce results. Even if it is dark out, streetlights and the sight and sound of traffic should distract the baby.

Music can calm and distract. Instrumentals may be less stimulating but experiment to learn what your baby likes. Babies have individual tastes in music just as adults do. I make him calm when he get really fussy with Chicco Swing Polly Swing Birdland recently my husband bought this it 's great actually he ordered it from BabeezWorld.com it an online store and gifted when him when he completed his first 3 months..sometimes i wish that i could sit on it..it has lights and d music and seat is so comfy which make him calm and warm ..sometimes he sleeps in it while i am doing some other work. That's great.

remember that crying is not necessarily a bad thing. babies need to cry to clear out their lungs.

singing talking and playing with the babby is very good as as noticed the earlier you start talking to the babby the sooner she will talk and bear in mind you should speak clearly as possible so as to develop the child,s speech

when my first baby was born he would cry and fuss a lot. i began to do things like rub his back or even perform a diaper change on him even though he didn't need one and usually that was enough to stop his crying.

a way to carry infants and small children for long periods of time without arm or back strain is babywearing. by using a sling or long piece of cloth you can hold your baby (even breastfeed hands free), giving them the benifit of being close to you, your smell, the sounds of your body and the movements you make, while you get the benifit of having your baby close and safe, while you can do other things, cleaning, cooking or shopping. it is more cost and space effective than a carseat or stroller. the website mamatoto. org has a great deal of information.

yes its truly important to show the caring attitude to the babies. if they don't get attention, they feel neglected and start crying.
