My kid does wake up at night and looks for me. If i am nearby, then he sleeps again and if he does not find me, he starts crying. I guess he is afraid of something.

great i do appreciate this steps to have better sleep thanks for sharing it. I've been searching for sleep management program recently and found that those were just a waste of time due to busy schedules. I have been struggling for this sleep problem due to heavy work during the day. you know what i had bump into this one site yesterday and it's called pzizz. It is basically a music application that you can just randomly play through your ipod and you can get sleep problem and even stress gone away then you can have the good night sleep that really want to have. try to visit : Pzizz and find out for yourself and see the difference.

I do agree that children do wake up late at night and this can cut out our good sleep. This can affect us during day time having lack of sleep. Sometime you really make your day so hard and stress out. I like this steps that you discuss on your post. I do have an alternative solution to this also, i have been getting a stress relief and sleep management just by sitting and listening through "Pzizz". Pzizz is a music application that can help you relieve from stress and sleep problems in an instant. You can visit : www dot pzizz dot com. try it and see for yourself. Thanks

Night waking is common among young children. Children wake up either out of habit, due to nightmares or because of occasional mental disturbances. But parents have to handle night waking in an intelligent manner. They have to understand that night waking has nothing to do with discipline. And there can't be any formula solutions. A parent should neither scold the child for waking up, nor should the parent be overprotective. Consider the following options for effective sleep-management of your child. 1. Do not disturb the child by touching and coddling too much during sleep. 2. Place your child in a sleeping bag or blanket sleeper. Or, you can keep a separate cot blanket to drape over your child and the toys around. 3. Install a 15-watt night-light. This will not stop your child from waking, but your child will be able to manage her emotions better.
