really on reading this i feel that i am definitely missing his childhood. i am a working mother and living seperate with my husband and without any elders. i going to office at 8.30 am and coming home by 7.00 pm. my hubby will be coming by 9-30 to 10 pm. in between 2-30 hours i have lots of household work and for his routine schedule of eating dinner taking milk doing homework etc. i am trying to talk with him a lot but sitting and playing daily is a bit difficult. on reading this i feel guilty. try to suggest me something good please. weekly once i am trying to spare 1 - 2 hours. that too goes with weekly brush up of that weeks lessons/ and doing some puzzles of educational toys.

after reading this afticle,i realise that i do spend enough time with my children playing outdoor and indoor games together especially on weekends. on weekdays also i spend time in a different way like helping them with their school work and story telling during dinner time etc.but i think this article is good for the parents who spend enough time with their children and parents who do not spend enough time with their children. it just gives a reminder to every parent about what they do with their children and what they lack so they can improve.

i read the article and the opinion.since i am a house wife,i am giving my full time to my six years old daughter, but my husband is very busy and not getting sufficient time to spend with our kid. i am also feeling that she is also little bit stubborn day by day. could you please tell me what are the consequences of this type of habit?

i think that it is good for children to play with other children of the same age,as they are used to them, but i also think it is a good idea for them to play with older children as they may feel more mature and better about themselves

i was just on the internet searching for some information regarding 'children playing together' for my degree. google search showed me this website and i started to read the first paragraph about parents ignoring children when they are watching tulsi etc. i personally agree that there are many parents/carers that ignore there chidren if they are watching their favourite soap and i think that is completely unfair for the child. this is because during the break you notice your child has poured a glass of water on the sofa or massaged cream all over the stairs you begin shouting, where is the fairness in that. you have time to shout but not play. it is outrageous. i think that as a parent you have many responsibilities and one of the abilities is to communicate, play, listen to your child and stop watching other people's lives on the telly. watch your own child's life for the first time!!

i am a working mother and my husband is very busy but after reading this article the whole day chores ran in front of my eyes and i suddenlt realised i am not a verygood mother really , though my husband plays too much with my 2 year old daughter even if he is there only for 1hour at home he will manage to give our daughter atleast 40minutes from that but i am either busy with kitchen or as you said sometimes with tulsi, thanks for the eye opener , from today i will change my self

the article is really very good and also is my personal experience. our children definitely gain out of these games but we also fill energetic. if we are short of time then we can involve our children in our household work and have fun. work smarter rather than work hard to be with our children.
