Talk Nicely

It is very important to talk to children nicely. They should get a warm and positive feeling when you are around them. Make them feel comfortable when you are talking to them. Children should grow freely and talking nicely to them can help them to get rid of any kind of pressure. Never insult them for anything. Talk in such a way that they identify you as a loving and kind individual.

Avoid Yelling

Yelling and screaming can affect the emotional wellbeing of children. So, you must quit this habit at all costs. Respond with love and see the change. Few kind words can do wonders to cultivate good behaviour in children.

Appreciate Hard Work

It is necessary to appreciate the hard work that children do. When you assign some task to your child and when he or she completes it successfully, give rewards. It does not matter if the reward is small, it is important to make children feel important.

Praise your children for their achievements. Celebrating achievements of your children will help to boost their self-esteem and confidence. Children can achieve more in life they get right support from parents. But always make sure that you do no over praise your children.

So, make sure that you are always available for them when they need your help. Do not ignore them when they ask for help. At the same time, never miss their stage performances, their sport days, annual functions and school meetings at all costs.

Take Them for Outings

Taking children on outings at nearby places can help them to get rejuvenated and refreshed. Take them to the nearby places like beaches, malls, parks etc; so that they can breathe in an open and fresh environment.

Share Joys and Sorrows with Them

Everyday find out from them how their day was. Share about the activities that happened in school. If they look upset or sad ask them the reason for the same. Always talk to them about good things and teach them to count their blessings. Never scare them by talking to them about negative things. Always teach them how to be kind and fair to others so that they only spread happiness and positivity around them.

Your children deserve your quality time. Telling stories to them, playing games with them or reading books for them can be a great way to spend quality time with them. Helping children with studies is also one of the ways to spend quality time with them. If your children are a little older you can ask them to help you with household chores. Doing chores together is a fun way to spend quality time with each other.

Treating your children with kindness can help you to raise them into to kind and happy individuals. Children mostly imbibe the kind of behaviour that they observe in their parents. So, when you treat your children with kindness, they are definitely going to show the same kind of gestures.
