Revise the Rhymes

rhymes are easy and you still remember it by heart. But still there are more chances of you forgetting the lyrics. As it may also possible that some new rhymes are introduced which you might never heard off. Take help of other parent, search the proper words in written form from any internet search engines or you may also refer books of rhymes which are easily available in the market. This can make your teaching easy and also with no mistakes.
Singing Rhymes
You must be having a habit of humming songs of your interest, so now onwards change this habit and involve yourself in humming the rhymes. Your child will love you more for this and at the same time he or she would learn the rhymes in play way mode. The positive effects of them, you would see sooner your child will start singing with you or else they would start responding to them. For example you are singing or humming a famous rhyme of “Jonny Jonny Yes Papa” the last concluding part of “Hahahaa” will surely come from their end.
Dance with Them
Now take a step forward start dancing while singing the rhymes. You can proceed with this activity while doing your
daily chores like while shaving or getting ready for going at your work. Because the dance for this is not hard it just involves tapping your feet and tapping your hands. Its motive is just to show your child how fun it is to sing or learn a rhyme. After some time only you will notice excitement in your child’s eyes and also a keen desire to learn and make fun as you have while singing the rhymes.
Act with Them
Moving onwards now it is time to involve them in the action. Dance with them keeping in mind the actions which will be easy for them and try to level with their pace. You can also do this while just sitting and moving your hands giving them indications of several steps through which they can proceed with their dancing steps on that rhyme. For an example when you are singing and dancing on the famous rhyme “hot cross bun” let them do action of making buns by moving hands in upwards and downwards directions meanwhile you can show them the steps which they should do.
Enact a Scene Including Them
With the fun way learning process you should forward as your child starts learning them one by one, now you can indulge them in enacting a scene which would be full of fun in learning and also allows more closeness between you and your child which is good for stronger bonding in your relation. For example; if you are
enacting a scene on a famous rhyme of “Bits-of-Paper” then you can throw some bits of paper on the floor and show your child how to pick them up and make the place tidy. Just watch the happiness in your child’s eye that time as it could make your day.
Finally, when they start learning and understanding the rhymes show them the colourful books of rhymes, so at this stage they will not tear the book. As the book contains something of their knowledge and also something about which they already knew.
