He has a talent with brushes and is a believer of enjoying his childhood to the fullest. He has a lot of fun and has also taken part in reality television shows for the sake of having fun. Nihar Gite was born on 29th December, 2009 in Ahmednagar of Maharashtra, India.
Nihar Gite has an incredible collection of about over five hundred paintings of the Lord Ganesha in his collection. Each is unique in their own aspect as he never repeats his paintings, either in the form of style or concept. The specialty of Nihar Gite’s paintings is that he draws inspiration from alphabets. For this, he takes the help of both the English and Marathi alphabets. He had shows a penchant for painting since the tender age of eleven months. According to his parents, this is surely quite a nascent age when a child decides to pick up the brush for painting. But he had his parents and each one who took a look at this wonder boy painting away in his own whim spellbound, at his talent and the amazing gift of God on this little one.
He has his name records in the Indian Book of Records for having painted the maximum number of Lord Ganesha paintings. Nihar Gite held the first exhibition of his life with all his 500 collection in the Bal Gandharva Art Gallery, in Pune, Maharashtra. This even took place on 17th august 2011 to 19th august 2011. This exhibition bought to light the amazing talent of this young boy and the news spread across, as it eventually caught the attention of the media and the appreciators and art connoisseurs. Receiving acknowledgement for his wirk has surely given a new high to Nihar Gite and his parents share the joy and are immensely proud of their son.
Nihar Gite has used the numbers one to ten, the English alphabets A to Z and all the alphabets of the Marathi vocabulary, for creating the Lord Ganesha paintings.
Nihar Gite was also a participant in the television reality show titled India’s Best Dramebaaz. He was among the final six contestants. It was a reality show featuring children who confidently showed and displayed their talent for performing before the camera. It judged the confidence levels of the kids as well as their natural behaviour before the camera and live performance. So, Nihar Gite proved his talent there as well. He had the judges of the likes of Preity Zinta and David Dhawan charmed by displaying his natural self as he enacted skits and parts of plays according to his choice. Nihar Gite later commented that he was there to have fun, and that he did to the fullest. He did not take the show to be something very serious, and therefore was able to be his natural self. He also attributed his success on the show to his father, who he termed as a “dramebaaz” or a fun-maker too! The little boy can be thus said to possess quite some wit too.
Nihar’s parents and teachers consider him as a child prodigy who is specially blessed by Lord Ganesha himself, else how would one explain the accuracy of art and dedication with which he keeps on handling the brush on one painting after another, and that too, at such a tender age. What is the achievement of Nihar Gite?
