Mix cooked tuna, chopped onions, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pepper, and salt and spread the mixture on the brown bread slices. You can omit the salt and pepper and add mustard sauce to make the sandwich little tangy.Use low-fat mayonnaise. Top the salad sandwich with lettuce leaves, avocado slices, tomato slices, and a slice of cheese.

Almond Butter and Banana Sandwich

Spread almond butter on the brown bread slices and top them with sliced bananas and sprinkle some sugar on it. Top it with the other slice. You can substitute the sugar with honey for kids more than 1 year of age.

Whipped Cream and Berries Sandwich

Add the sliced blueberries, cranberries, and strawberries in between the sandwiches, and your kids’ healthy sandwiches are ready.

Chicken or Egg Salad Sandwich

Cheddar cheese is good for your kids’ health as it has a high concentration of essential nutrients, in particular high quality protein and calcium. Peanut butter provides good supply of protein for body development, essential fats for brain development, and vitamins and minerals for the immune system. Spread peanut butter on the bread slices and spread cheddar cheese and add apple slices in between them.
Allow your kids to test their culinary skills by picking up their choices of fruits, vegetables, and fruits, and make their own sandwiches.
