A much needed article! Today, in most of the houses both mother and father will be a working person and the kids are found to spend their time with their grandparents or nannies. Spending time with kids has become a rare thing. So, parents should try to spend at least 15 to 20 minutes every day and understand the needs, joys and what their kid actually likes and dislikes. Whatever be the work I have in my schedule, spending time with my little daughter have never lost.

sure the tips are good and willl go a long way in building up the confidence of the child.listening with eye to eye contact and being a part of his/her world will surely make them feel at ease and child can share many more things with the parent.

i think that only classes r not enough for building cofidence in children.these r not easily avaliable in small cities.main thing is our attention and encouragement.definately this will work.

i agree with all other topics except pay attention. i have a daughter of 11 yrs. i started listen to her and advise too but now a days she keeps on talking as soon as i enter in the home from my duty. since i myself am tired working from morning till evening and as soon as i enter home my sweet daughter starts telling the whole day what she did and i have less energy to listen her, in this case please advise me what i should do. i want to talk to her, listen her but shortage of time.
