can u please tell me what exactly is a laproscopy, as i am required to do this before i go in for IVF. cAn you pls explain the proceedure, and is it very painful.

i need to get it done in mumbai and i live in delhi, so after how many days later can i travel. also can u tell me after ivf proceedure , how many days later can i travel back to delhi, as i plan to get ivf done in mumbai too

Dear Star,
As said by rajani laproscopy is a simple procedure takes approx 20-30 minutes .I got my done on 10th (thursday)& today i am back to work .I came back the same day took leave for friday (sat is off) so took good rest .Not very painfull but some pain in the stich .I am doing household work also but slowly .One precaution i am taking is not to bend down as this will cause pain .While sitting on chair also i do not exert pressure on my midriff.All the best

laproscopy is very simple surgical procedure to check the well being of ur uterus & tubes.
About Ivf , which doc are u consulting for IVF in mumbai. Pls help me
I need to try for IVF & this shld be my 2 attempt

there are a couple of good docs in mumbai..firuza parikh, jatin something, sadhna desai, indira hinduja , infact she s the one who made the first ivf baby in india

but is the laproscopy painful after the operation..how soon can u resume work
