1. i have tb in the uterus..what are my chances of conceiveing.
2. i had also a dermoit cyst which was removed thru laproscopy from my right ovary around 6 yrs ago. i have both my ovaries , and tubes are not blocked. i ovulate on time and my husbands sperm count is also normal
3. unfortunately we do not have a lot of sex, we prefer to cuddle..and seem to have sex only once a month...and 2wice a week on my days of ovulation , which i know as i have done follicular monitoring.is that ok..and is having sex once a month normal?
i have been trying to conceive since a year..and no luck. i have one failed iui.
are u from delhi??
pls help...i am reaching a stage where i seem to look longingly at young mothers in market places and restaurnts..and cant seem to stop..
i also excesrcis and work to keep my mind off...

Pia,

Pls take another opinion if possible - although I dont want you to be confused with too many opinions - I am just wondering how come only 2 months medication was given to you - its usually 9-12months if TB was detected.

Like Sudha mentioned see a Gynaecolgist who is fertility expert - have you tried alternative medicine homeopathy and yoga etc - it does not have side effects and no harm trying

thanx for writting ...
has the tb cured totally ??if not conception is out of question as u can understand an infected uterus will not be in a position to hold the foetus..now a days uterus tb is completly treatable and women has gone aheaed and have babies
during the treatment and also after 6 mnths after the treatment is over u need to wait for the toxic to drain off frm ur body
if ur completly cured conception should not be a prob
also u need to have sex in the correct time and start a few days before ovulation and continue for few more days even after the ovulation time is over ..u can never exatly pin point ur ovulation it can jst b estimated ...and also try to do it every altrenate days ..how long have u been married??? i can really understand ... this thing ...
its been 1 yr why dont u visit a doc rather a fertility spclst ... so that u can be reffered over for a thorough chk up ..because jst wondering wont help u need medical attention
also i feel ur too much into baby making thinking process why dont u jst tk a brk ..may be a vacation ...
but pls see a doc 1st
let me know ...what the doc says and do feel free to write if u have anyother querry
love
sudha

well if ur doc has said u need to start the iui then u need to ...but as far as i know after a tb treatment is over u need to wait for osme time ofcource it depends how much complication has happened ... i had know in a case where the tb was undetected for 12 yrs and after 8 miscarriages and a good doc it was determined and treated so the severeity need to be see... if ur not satisfied pls take in a 2nd opinion or may be a 3rd all docs dont approach the same way to the same prob ... but it is upto u to decide has all ur test been done taht ur fit ???? because ur age also need to be taken into account so dont delay much if u stick to the sam edoc ... follow her advice and start over the iui ...but get knowledgebla that what the doc is doing is correct or not

I am in same position as you are. A cyst has been detected near my right ovary and probably I will be having another laproscopy to get it removed very soon. 2 yrs back TB was detected through laproscopy for me. TB is now a thing of the past for me too and I am trying to conceive. My recent HSG showed by tubes are fine. I seem to be ovulating ok as per blood report too. Though my period is not all that regular neither all too irregular.

Even normal couples with no history take time to conceive. I dont know your age group so cannot comment with my limited knowledge. But if you have age and normal health in hand now you should try as much as possible though also avoid stress if there is no immediate outcome. Take a break - go on a short holiday with husband.
