My 4 month old baby girl was dark when she was born. Now her face complexion is little better. But the rest of her body is very dark. Can anyone give some suggestions on to improve baby's complexion? My mom says i can use moong dhal and pure turmeric powder mix for the fair complexion. Anyone tried this?

Hi,

I dont't think it is a good idea to apply stuff like dal, turmeric etc. on your baby's skin. True, these are natural complxion enhancers, but I feel a baby's skin is too delicate for any beauty treatments. As for her complexion, what's wrong with being dark? If that's the colour she has inherited from you or your husband, then that's how she'll be. Please, do not put unnecessary stuff on her....just cherish her as your beautiful baby.

Parul.
