Feeding:doesnt take bottle while awake?

my 6.5 mon old is on bottle since birth.i have been using same bottles with formula when he born.
but he never takes bottle inside his mouth while he is awake......first i make him sleep then only he takes bottle.
it is becoming a prob for me now.
what shud i do?

Hi !
if he is not drinking with bottle i think its good my When i tried to feed my baby with bottle and she refused my paediatrician said its good thing why are u again trying to feed with bottle.. Just be patient for 15-20 days and feed him with spoon it self and after that u can feed him with sipper cup its better

Hi !
i too had the same problem as he is 6.5 months age u can start solid and as u know his sleeping time dont give him any solid before 1 hr the sleeping time so that u can feed him in the sleep time ..
i spoon feed my baby she is 8 months old and she doesnot drink milk at all..
U try with spoon feeding for 1-2 days when he is waken and try bottle after 2 days he may accept

i give him milk with spoons but i want to avoid it.....so what i do is make him sleep and thrn give milk.
