can someone pls tell me how semen analysis is done?imean wat preparotary steps are to be takn? also,do we have to give the sample in the lab only or do we get the bottle to take home and then drop it to the lab?

When we had ours tested we had to contact the pathologist to find out what time the corier came to take samples to the lab and have the deposit there no more than 30 minutes before collection. My hubby was told the perfect place was in his pocket or between the breasts is great (I' m V small in the bust so we chose the pocket)!

You require no more prep than to avoid sex for 2-3 days, wash your hands and ensure your penis is clean and dry. Your hubby will need to materbate and collect the semen in the jar (quite tricky or so says my hubby-we spilt some!!), don' t use lubricants of any type or saliva to help lubricate the penis for this as it contaminates the sample. well for semen analysis the man is usually asked to come in the 1st hr accompanied by his partner and a fresh sample needs to be submitted in a jar which then goes in for analysis
now how the analysis happnes can well be described by any pathologist
hope ur querry is answered for furthur knowledge why dont u google!!!
