Well gauri, your opinion is really great..but to tell you one thing..i just started this question jus to find out if there are young mommies same age as me..that´ s all..i didn´ t need a history of why i am so young..to have a baby..and why other people are choosing the modern lifestyle...i really don´ t care..but your comments are very baseless.sorry!!!!...:) i just asked a simple question i didn´ t need a lecture about this matter!!!!!!!

i still cant digest this early mrrg n early babies ...US coz way of living is not like here in india...its very modern...western countries means very independent kind of lifestyle...
believe me jsut the other day i was talking to my friend ..about the girls we come across in trains while travelling.. u know they are from rural areas stying in bombay..if u look at them n compare with us ...we look like we come from some village ...they look so hep and smart..they prefer living alone ...they work for some call center..like to party ..not at all those family types who will like to sttle down or hv babies...far away from such thoughts...n another thing that has become popular live - in relations..obviously...there is no elder person withn them....i.mean lifestyle ..has changed so much...girls n boys they are so sure ..about what they want..they are so sure about everything ..not at all like us...taht ur parents said get mrrd settle down n they will settle down...we want to see are grand children n they will produce one for u...not at all ..they will take 2 to 3 years after mrrg for frist baby...mrrg is last thing intheir mind...so the babies...

childer b4 mrrg and umpteen n preteen preg are totally dif f issues...

and having a baby at the age of around 18 - 19 is really shocking...i mean hats off to them who can take care of them ...coz at he age of 18-19 u are like a child...

let me tell u one thing its nothing like im making fun ...my mother was in 7th std whe was in school...she got a proposal form my fahter her family liked him so much that they said ..we wont come across such guy again n they got her mrrd...but this was 30 years back...now things hv totally changed here...

thats y i said in a country like US...4get it....i shd have kept my comment to myself only...sorry again....

i think i should keep my advises for babies only....im sorry again...

mayb i ddnt put it properly...but honestly im shocked ..how can u be mom so early that too coming from countries like US....???
otherwise nowadays ...whoever i cum across they ask me one question do u want to go for 2nd child its a wrong decision...better hv only 1...my very own bro' s n bhabhi' s believe that....
at 30 they feel they are too young to get mrrd...
i got pregnant imme after mrrg coz both my husband n I wanted to hv as soon as po...then we sd we can wait for 3 years for another baby...
u know every1 was making fun of me when i broke the news im preg..thy were like so soon...u hardly enjoyd mrrd life...
i dont know what sense n in what way couples dont enjoy after having babies...
so atleast i hv not cum across any1 having baby or getting mrrd so soon..at 30 also nowadays people feel they are too young to produce babies...n cant handle them n take responsibity...
no comments...

What you said was in no way hurtful, but I felt it could have offended the original poster. A quick curious question, what makes you think that people in the US do not have babies early in their lives? There are umpteen teen and preteen pregnancies and this is a hot issue here. Im an active member of a US birthboard(the one on babycenter) and we are a super huge network of internet mommies. We have plenty of teen and young mamas between ages 20-25 and of course they all planned to become a parent.
A large number of teen pg are accidents but a lot of them are planned pgs too.
Having babies or not, getting married or not, breastfeed or formula feed are all personal ,independent choices of the individuals and there is no pattern to them, whether America or India or Africa..
You got my point?
