My son is 4 years old , he talks at home but don' t takk in school. His teacher mentioned that he doesn' t even open his mouth in school . please suggest what to do ..it is 6 months now that he is going to same school ... Thomas replied. Hi Swati, give some time to your kid he will be fine with time. Do not force him or keep questioning him on regular basis it will give him tension and pull him into depression within no time. I used to talk normally with everyone at home but i used to be a lil quite in the school but in 10th std i made more friends and got comfortable with them and then started talking. Ritu replied. First try to find out whether the problem lies in school/class. Ask his teacher to support you in this issue, request her to find out if anything is wrong in his class. If this continues then try to change his school, as new environment and new friends might help your kid to change his behavior.

Hi Swati, give some time to your kid he will be fine with time. Do not force him or keep questioning him on regular basis it will give him tension and pull him into depression within no time.
