hi there,
does anyone here have some idea about dysmennhorea??if yes,please answer the following questions...
1)How can one avoid dysmennhorea before the onset of periods?
2)Can you suggest some remedy except for oral medication for it?
3)Does dysmennhorea occur only in the ovulatory cycle?
i actually experince a very severe case of dysmennhorea.i become practially bed ridden for half a day unless i resort to medications.and trust me,im reallllly scared of my periods coz of the discomfort they cause.
pls help with ur inputs...

Hi mitasha, I totally sympathize with your situation as I also can loose 1-2 days where I can' t do anything due to intense period pain, and if i do crack and take painkillers they are so strong I feel really out of it anyway. I have tried taking Raspberry leaf extract tablets or drinking raspberry leaf tea just before and during my period and I find it does help with the flow and so speeds things up abit. It is definately worth trying... let me know if it helps, or if you discover any other helpful remedies.
