Not to worry at all... even I am in the 22nd week of my preg. and had a similar experience. No movements at all but the u/s showd everything normal. Dont worry at all. This is the beginning of my sixth month and the doc said that proper movements would be apparent by the end of sixth month.

Although I have started feeling the movements from the beginning of my 5th month, I had a friend who didnt feel a thing till the beginning of the 7th month. So hopefully all will be well for you also!

its the first time i'm writing for this message board. and for the reason that i've just completed my 23rd week and u are into ur 23rd.
i think it is okay if u haven't felt any foetal movment till now. u'll feel it anytime from now on. but the main thing is how to distinguish between foetal movement and any other of the stomach movements.
no one will be clearly able to describe how it feels, its up to u to make out.
i am feeling it for last 2 weeks. and how i'd decribe it is that - in the begining its like very soft bubble moving in ur stomach. and gradually over period of days it'll become stronger. it is not painful at all. and happens in certain period of the day, like after meals or when ur stomach is empty or at times at night when u r resting.

Initially it is difficult to identify the movements. But i suggest go for a check up at the earliest, wherein ur do will be able to make u hear ur babies heartbeats.

RE:adoption in a family
hey ananya this is really a very sensitive case and you should think about it before hand as in what the child would think in future as he or she grows up. Or else you will have to do counselling of the child at the right time.... - ridhi [View Message]

RE:less amniotic fluid
Hi Rupal,
So don't you have any other option because it would be very hard for you to abort the child know.So better ask for any other source if not then you decide what to do.... - Amani [View Message]
