hi all
can u suggest snack ideas for my 11mnth old baby. he gags on whatever i feed him and sometimes he even throws. this is why i find it hard to give him everything. his ped told he' s normal. i still puree the foods for him. sometimes he gags on ragi also. what other breakfast can i give for him . also how can i prepare kheer for him . can i give it in the evenings. how much should i give him. please help

From what i have read babies should be introduced to different textures, and if you puree all his food then hes not really getting a variation in texture.mash his food but not completely. Maybe he will enjo the food cause of the texture.My son is 9 months and a little fussy, so i sometimes give him the same food but in different texture and he takes it.

I dont know what all you have tried giving your son but heres a list of the things that i can think of-

dalia-sweet or with vegetables
kheer of rice or suji- in little ghee saute the suji , then add milk and gur/sakar
cheese and crackers- just break with your hand and give small pieces in his mouth
