Feeding:Apetite loss

Name: Mother

I read in many places that kids apetite goes down from 12 months to 2 yrs.
My daughter is 11 months old. For past 1 week, her apetite has gone down drastically. She is not eating even 1/3rd of what she used to have before. Is that normal?
I don' t see any symptoms of new teeth.
She is active otherwise. Did anyone have similar experience and how to increase the apetite and get bk to normal?

its nothing like that.it depends on each child.
they do only because then need some change in the diet. my daughter was like that now she is ok at 15months. her preferences and tastes have changed alot in past 3months.i change the texture every week, keep changing her taste and appearance and she eats.

infact i have read in hetal' s replies that babies eat almost 1/4th serving of an adult serving at 1 year and by the time they are 2 years they eat almost 1/2 to 3/4th of adult serving and i got it confirmed by my doc too.
all this in 3-4mini meals including juice and 3times whole milk around 5-7oz.my daughter is eating but itz just that i have to do a little dance and do all tricks to make her eat. in toddler years all this is common.

keep a gap of 3hours from now on and if you are giving heavy foods like cheese, keep a gap of 4hours and like that. i learned all this from hetal' s post and it has worked pretty well for hyperactive toddler.
yeah i forgot to tell u onething that give lot of exercises and playtime after meals. all that will give her good apetite too.

i am sure someone will post you diet tips on 11months and onwards.i din' t save the one hetal replied to me as it was very easy to remember.
hope some of tips from this helps your daughter.
