I missed my periods and got confirmed that i' m pregnant. But when i had my scan on the 5th week in india only the sac was formed and then she told me to check for another scan after two weeks.But i was gone on holiday and come back to UK. Here i went for a check up with mid wife and told her about the problem. But she told they will scan only in the 12week. But told everything is fine. Even i had the nausea and voimiting. But on the 12 week scan they could not see any baby only the placenta was grown and they told it could be molar pregnency and they did a DNC. I have not heard about this before. It is really a big shock. They told not to try for another pregnency upto 1 year. Rakhi replied. Hi Vidya ,
Yes I had gone for previous ultrasound and everything was looking fine till the 5th week , so we were very happy ,then were asked to get weekly chk ups ,in the 6th week we could not hear any heartbeat so the doctors asked us to wait for another week ..it was confirmed in the 7th week that it would be a miscarriage .D&C was done a week later. I did not have formation of milk as such but would guess these sympton would go away afterall you were pregnant for almost 2 months . In case of doubt ckh with your doctor.

Sorry to hear about the baby ,don' t worry , I have personally gone thru this myself whereby I concieved and around 6th month via ultrasound found out that the sac was empty and there was no heartbeat and has to get D & C done ..it was a difficult time . God has his ways . You would need to rest after D&C ,get your energy and strength back both physically and emotionally ..wait for 2 months atleast and try again , don' t know why your Doctor asked you to wait for a year because I was told to try when I feel ready and have healed , tried after 2 months and now I am a mother to a beautiful 1 month old daughter .

S M replied. If you have any doubts why not fix an appt with another doctor and do the ultrasound again ,but do it as soon as possible.
My friend had the same problem and she had to do the same procedure since they could not find the baby and only the sac was found.
I know its hard on you,but you will be fine I am not sure about the trying after 1 yr thing the doctor would be your best bet.
Take it easy and i know its tough but be strong.
