Subject:  some suggestions

My kid is now 35 months , I started when he was 22 months , by 24 months he was trained, though nighttime is still an issue
My suggestions :
1.put him in training pants ,for pee pee take him to the bathroom frequently
2.Initially he will poop in training pants, show him that he has to poo in the potty, throw the contents of diaper in his potty and flush .( I did this for 3-4 days ,actually the flushing part interested him).
3 Afterwards Keep him diaper free ,there will be few accidents.Once hi starts telling/gives you signs take him
My case initially my son used to say after he pooed or peed. Then when I kept him diaper free there where days he could not say at correct time, couple of times just outside his potty .
But they learn quickly.Ecourage him and show him potty traing videos from library
hope this helps
