Feeding:travelling food?

hi all,
i' ve 15 months old son.we are planning to go to temple at our native place.going to be 11 hrs travel in car at a stretch.he doesnot drink milk/juice/any solid.his doet includes only solid food 5 times a day.can someone suggest food while travelling.there may not be oven facilities in that remote place.m worried how to manage 2 days?planning rice kanchi,roti,whole banana,idli/dosa,cerelac,biscuit ...friends suggest me few more!

hi vijayalakshmi....i too have a 15 mnth old son & he too is a very fussy eater.recently we had gone to an island abt 8 hrs drive frm taipei & the food i carried for him was :(1)we had already sautey wheat flour in ghee dry & made sheera by just adding gaggrey water (hot) &boiled for some few mins....(2)instant oat flakes...just add hot water &salt &turmeric to it .(3)sautey suji in ghee at home &carry it with u then u just need hot boiled water to add to it & salt or gaggrey to make it sweet & boil it for few mins to make it a pooridge.that is how i managed for 2 days on that island & had a peaceful plesant trip.hope it works for u too...all the best.
