hi,

i am ttc for the past 1.5 years. I have undergone IUI for the 3rd time this cycle. I have PCOD and have been ovulating with Letrazol for the past 7 Cycles. We are planning to take a break for 3 to 6 months if we dont suceed this cycle. I want to be out of this tension & the strict plans...but on the other hand i want to Ovulate when we take break, so that if it has to happen naturally it would happen.
My question is can i take Letrazol myself without going for Follicular monitoring,HCG Injections and other stuff...My doctor saya there is no use if i dont come for scan...But my main question if i can take this myself so that atleast i would be ovulating when we take break.(I would like to make it clear that am not intending to take a break frm trying to conceive, but only from these routine almost daily hospital visit and from being so conscious of my ovulation and Intercourse).
Pls suggest as to wht can i do if i intend to take a break...
Others also pls give ur valuable suggestion.

you being conscious about ovulation and intercourse adds stress and works against.

I don't think hcg can be taken without scan, it has to be close to ovulation and that can't be figured just like that.

I would suggest avoid all tests and use OPK and BBT method to know ovulation and try naturally. But remember if you keep thinking of ovulation only chances are again going to diminish as you will stress yourself and your spouse along with.
