As I have mentioned inmy earlier posts, I had a miscarriage last december and my periods did not return untill March. Doc says it usually returns in 8 weeks. But for me I waited till March and then went back to the doc who put me on medicines to induce periods. Then on I have been having a cycle of 22 days. I want to know if this is normal. If I go to my doc she puts me on Duphaston and when i take it I have a normal 28 day cycle. The moment i stop, it returns to 22 day cycle. Now I have been trying for almost 5-6 months to conceive again but as I mentioned its just not working out. Is it because my cycel is too short [only 22 days] . When will I ovulate in a 22 day cycle. Please help...

you want to concieve? you probably cant concieve on duphaston, tell your doctor you want to concieve.

Hey Verne,
I did not know that I cannot conceive in Duphaston. That is the reason i specifically asked my doc if consuming Duphaston will help my pregnancy. She said that it will aid me in getting pregnant ! I am now confused ?????

consult ur gynae

hi divya,
if u want to know that when u ovulate or do u ovulate or not get ur follicular monitoring (ultrasound) done from the 6th day of ur period( start count from the day one when u get ur periods). then ur radiologist or doc will tell when u ovulate, when to try, or if u have any problem in ovulating. all the best.
