Have not got any reply on my Posting...Pls reply if any of you are aware of this...
i have a doubt in my HSG Test...The dr said that i have no blocks in my tube and is absolutely normal. But it was mentioned in the report that the \";Distal end of right tube is dilated\";...
When i took the reports to my Gyn, she said that the right tube is functionally ok but not physically. She meant that the Rt tube does not have the ability to push the Egg/Fertilised embryo to the Uterus. Also she added that this could lead to Tubal Pregnancy often. She said therez no cure for this.

My worry is in all these 4 to 5 cycles which i repsonded for fertility tablets, only my right Ovary responded and only once the left also responded. So in this Scenario, i am scared as to wht will happen...

Have anyone of u come across such a situation??? Is there a way that only my left ovary be stimulated for ovulation??? Am not clear. Pls clarify if any of u know abt this????

This cycle luckily my left ovary responded and underwent IUI. She has prescribed HCG 2000 injections 5 times in 10 days...Is this generally prescribed for people undergoing IUI???

now reg ur hsg report: what ur doc says is right & I am sure she will take necessary precautions when u conceive like 6th week scan to establish pregnancy etc. lets hope that things work out +ve this cycle itself.
now reg hcg injection..yes its given to support pregnancy. ur doc is the best judge to decide upon the dosage as she knows ur harmonal function. don't worry too much. things will happen when it has to happen. till then one must have patience to wait(though its frustrating). good luck for this cycle.

Thank for ur wishes. My son'a name is Aniketh.
Did you finish IUI this cycle? When your doc said abt the problem, did she come up with any solution or give any options to you other than IVF. One of the solution is to cauteirze your right tube & go in for IVF. Better talk to your doc abt options.Even better wld be you conceive in this cycle itself:)

As far my question is concerned, i really dont want to go for IVF at this stage as this is my 1st cycle of IUI. But if my right responds and if the dr is sure it will lead to tubal pregnancy, then i want to be aware of the ways to avoid it. Anyways, thanks for ur wish that this cycle would work for me. Let me keep my fingers crossed till then...

have patience. don't jump the gun & look for ivf. who know u may succeed in this cycle itself. as i said ur doc is the best judge to decide the course of action.even in ivf u can land up with ectopic pregnancy. by bad luck if u don't conceive this cycle, u can talk to ur doc abt ivf issue. how many cycles of iui r done? generally they wait up to 3 or 4 cycles for iui. u can also search thenet for ur tubal condition. u may get a clearer picture. i used to spend hours on the net reading abt ivf.
right now i am staying in brunei. both my parents & in laws r in blr. parents near chamarajpet & in laws in banashankari 2nd stage.
thanks for asking abt our health. all r on the road to recovery. though my son still has a bit of leaky nose, he is much better than he was in bangalore.
take care vidhu. don't worry too much. God knows whats best for us & he will never let us down. relax & enjoy life(though a bit tough while u r ttc)believe me, once u hv a kid, ur whole life will change. so have fun with ur hubby while u can :-))

Hi Ria,

This HCG is prescribed for support of Pregnancy if conceived. That is wht my Gyn told me. I am also confused if they would give HCG for supporting the pregnancy. This dosage has started after i have ovulated and 5 days after completing my IUI.

Pls clarify.
