my son is 4 months old i ffed him but also gave him formula milk twice a day bcoz he feels hungry i want to ask when should we start semi solid or what to give them Hetal replied. let your dr be the best person to decide when to start solids for your child.
if you ask me, i will not recmnd it starting before 6months unless your child seems to be hungry even after drinking as below :
Breast milk: on demand OR Iron-fortified formula: 4–5 feedings of 6–8 ounces each..

if your child seems to be doing fine/feels contended even after drinking as above, thn he doesnt need to start on the solids !
however, if n only if, other conditions like inspite of proper intake of formula/bm, your child seems to lagging behind in weight, milestones, or has ne nutrional dfciency,,thn its advsable to start him on solids, ensuring he gets proper nutrition--- all decided by your dr at your child next well child checkup...until thn,let your child njoy the liquid diet he needs...formula and bm gives him all he needs,,,,,
