Name: viju hi archi and all,

today i got my follicle test done.. it has grown 13.5mm ( today is my 9th day). Today doctor has priscribed me a tablet called PROGYNOVA (estrogen suppliment). I checked abt this tablet in the internet. It has lots of side effects.

why this tablet is given? Is there anyone who had already taken this tablet? Do it help me to conceive? Did anyone experience the side effects of this tablet?

Pls answer me immediately bcoz i hv to start this from tommorow morning itself..

pls advise me. looking forward for ur messages. thanks a lot for hearing a big query.

hello viju,
i also had this tablet & did not hv any side effects. this helps in better implantation of the embryos. go ahead & take it. no problems.

viju, as kirti has said pls have faith in your doctor. no doctor will prescribe medicine to harm their patients. if u don't have faith in your doctor, it becomes difficult for them to go ahead with the treatment as you will start doubting them at every step. trust is an important factor, especially in this kind of treatments. your doctor knows what best he/she is doing. so pls have faith in your doctor.

hey Viju, I also had this medicine once but have'nt noticed any side effects from it. But it was not helpful to me .
but it differs person to person.
I m in US i visited India and there my doc gave mt this medicine so don't hav much knowledge abt it.
i'll update u coz i hav a prescription from my doc(frm india) bcoz she has given me 3 different tablets ans PROGYNOVA was one of that.

Hi Kirti and Annie

Thanks for your replay. Today i got my follicle test got done and Iam on my 13th day of the cycle. The follicles have grown to 18mm now. The doctor asked me to take HGC today. I have taken it without even thinking about the side effects. The doctor asked me have intercourse today, tomorrow and day after tomorrow. My querry is what is the success rate of HGC in general. I have also read after taking HGC there were negetive results.
Iam praying that my long awaited wish comes true.
