Hi girls,
On 18 Aug. i went for a baseline ultrasound (that was my day 3 of cycle and i was about to start CLOMID in tht cycle if everything looked good)but my nurse found a cyst in my right ovary. She prescribed me with a Birth control pills just for 3 weeks( She told me tht it'll reduce the cyst).....I took them and yesterday i again had a ultrasound to see how is the cyst ,She told me that the cyst has gone completely.
So now my ques. is I hav a baseline ultrasound again on either 2-3-4 day of my cycle(periods are not started yet)
Can i take Clomid this time? do it benefit me this time as i was having Birth c. pills.
I also want to knw whether Provera and These pills are Same?
I hav PCOS and don't hav periods on my own. hopingfortejas replied. hey ,

i have been in that scenario many times ...with BCP and clomid in alternate cycles ...and it works fine ..

generally if you have a cyst in the earlier part of your cycle , giving clmoid in the cycle is not a good idea as you might not ovulate inspite of clomid .... so that is why they pout you on BCP ...

and BCP and proveraq are different ... BCP gives your body all the hormones in a proportion such that there would be no mature follicles ... but provera is just progesterone supplement ... but at the end of your course, you should get your AF as BCP also has progesterone just like provera ...so when you dicontinue it, your progesterone levels drop whihc leads to AF ..
