can anyone help on how to do the annaprasana ceremony and when it should be done

Hi,
We recently performed annaprasana to our son. It is usually done in even months for boys and odd months for girls. We did it in his 8th month.
This is how we did at home.
We did pooja to the deity at home prepared rice kheer. Then we arrange things like books, friuts, toys, money etc in a row and let the baby crawl three times and hold one of them of his choice at a time. Then we feed him kheer three times(very little qty) with a gold ring. That's it. Hope this helps.

Hi,

Normally, it is traditional to perform this function during 6th month of the baby. You have any priest do it for you.
