sry about the one thats below,,ignore it,,missed many points !

1. thin out the mucus with vapourizer or warm mist humidifier,,esp at night and if pssble day time as well.
2. keep your room temp from 70-75f.
3. as soon as her nose is stuffed with mucus, clean with bulb, or suck it out..make sure to spray the saline spray first so that friction doesnt occur and nasal pasges dont irritate !
4. keep her sleep elevatd to avoid mucus deposits in lung passage or ne sinus probs.
5. apply vicks babyrub on her chest, back of chest, feet, soon aftr applicatn, make her wear good warm liners or cottons with inner liners and not wool !
6. 1drop of eucalyptus oil on her back of clothes or her bedding will help her soothe stuffed nose(if ony with mucus)..or apply it on your clothes,,it will relieve her from stuffy nose.
also, put a pan, put some ajwain seeds in that, and let the aroma cover the room ! stand with her holding her in the same room,,it will clear her nasal in mins.
whenver the cough seems to be too much stuffed up,,put a warm cloth on her chest and back of chest,,to thin out the cough...its very slow remedy but in long run it does affect.

7. guve her warm water to drink everytime she asks for water,,and offer 1oz of fresh basil leaves water, only once a day.(make the whole batch and store it,,offer it warm whenever you offer with a couple drops of ghee in it)

8. offer her vit c diet, lots of fruits and fresh juices.
9. limit or reduce dairy intake, egg yolks as of now and replace soy if possble.
10. offer lots of fibr,,some kids tend to get constipatd in cold,,so make sure to offer plenty of fluids, fibr.
11. some below are the pointers,,see if it helps you to soothe him,,consider AGE of the baby,,before trying nething else as mentioned.

RE:Baby cries while passing urine - Hetal pls advice
At the same time the child is feeling some pain So try to understand and consult a doctor.... - sharmasanvi [View Message]
RE:bowel movement in 2 week old infant
Some babies go through phases when they either can't use the muscles to empty their bowels or they "forget how to". In that case, it's safest keep using the suppositories daily to make them do a dirty in 5 minutes.... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:where can I get laxative?
You can get either glycerin or bisacodyl suppositories in any Indian pharmacy - I recommend saving money by not buying child-size ones, instead cutting adult supps in half to make a child-size dosage.
(I have a daughter with long-term bowel issues: she can't "do" without them!)... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:constipation
When the baby is in discomfort from constipation (especially if she hasn't done some dirty for two days or more), the first thing you should give is a glycerin suppository.... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:hi
Most doctors say banana doesn't help - the potassium in it makes constipation worse. Remember you can make your own prune puree in a blender. Grape, grapefruit and papaya are also laxative fruits. And remember you can safely use baby suppositories as often as you need to (they also help with "training" the baby to do a dirty at the same time every day)... - Su 03 [View Message]
RE:Baby Movements/Development
Consult a good doctor immediately as this should not be ignored as it will cause a big issue if you let it go now, please seek doctors advice on immediate basis.... - Aditi [View Message]
RE:Baby Movements/Development
Hi Karthik this is a serious issue and you should look into this matter very seriously as its concern with your own child and you cannot let things go, have a good consulting done by a good doctor.... - Amaira [View Message]
