i have a stupid query..you normally say there are 20% chances of conception every cycle even if the couple is normal..I was curious to know wot might be going wrong? (u really need not answer this... just curiosity to know, but please answer the next question).

I read in one of ur posts. that even after taking the shot on 14 and 13 day its not necessary that eggs would ovulate/mature.. if at all .. eggs dont ovulate then .. wot happens to them? is that wot is PCOS? Or do they go out during AF.
And normally after taking the shot .. shud IUI be done within 24 hours? archie replied. Veena,
even if spems are reached in fallopian tube for healthy couple the healtiest sperm has to collide with egg to fertilise. Fertilized egg has to travel all the way to uterus and implant itself. There are chances that fertilization won't take place, because of wrong timing and also due to a very few healthy sperms available or being fuzed with not so healthy sperm. Many time fertilized egg does not make it to implant and menses are expected. These are a few of the many reasons for failure for healthy couple.

yes, not to mature or release egg is a property of PCOS. Sometime egg ruptured from immature follicle is not healthy enough to get one pregnant. Again PCOS.
It does not matter if the IUI is done in 18 hrs or 24 hrs post injection what mature if there really was a healthy egg available and was a few hours before releasing eggs or was it later.
