Hi you all! I'm so over whelmed by so many messages! Very honestly, this time i really wasn't expecting this.. I'd recently been to india for my vacation & my gyn had suggested that i go for an iui whilst i'm there. I'd gone to a doc for the same, he did my check-ups & tests and informed me that my ovulation was not at the right time. basically an egg from the previous cycle was rupturing in the next one. so till that was corrected there wasn't really much point in going for any further treatments. On my return, i went to see my doc and she checked me and suggested we wait till my next cycle.. which well, never came! so this is my miracle baby...
When i didn't get my period i thought that my PCOD was acting up again and decided to wait.. when more than one week passed, i decided to go for a HPT.. which was positive!
I was scared, but hopeful... and i went to see my gyn.. she checked me, did a scan etc and confirmed the pregnancy!
She also made me listen to the little guys heartbeat.. I really couldn't believe it... :))))
Now i think it's finally begining to sink in!!
For me it's Ganpati bappa's prasad... for which i am extremely grateful to God!
Believe me girls..
FAith works..

Let me take this opportunity and tell you and others as well, what worked for you is most likely your \";given up\"; attitude on ttc than concentrating if I am missing period and why am I getting menses. Your message clearly indicate that you were not all hopeful rather you were waiting for menses to appear means you were keeping your thoughts far from ttc and not driving your self in wrong direction. I am sure calmness is one important thing that all people from this board need to adapt along with their treatment. PCOS can't make one not to get pregnant especially when known it's there. You will need to carry some faith in process and believe in yourself.

Congrats!!! So happy to hear this newz. Am also desperately waiting for this day to come in my life. I am also with PCOD trying since 1.5 yrs. My period might start anytime, but am praying not to...Pls pray for me. BTB, how long were u trying and how was this sucessfull??? Thru IUI or thru Fertyl tablets???
