Trying since long:a question

Name: Sharpie We have been trying to conceive since Sept 05. In Jan 06 I conceived but that ended up in a missed miscarriage in March 06. I had to undergo a D&C to terminate the pregnancy. After the D&C we took a break of 2 months and started ttc since June 06. Below are some questions that I have
1) Before my D&C my cycle length used to be 28 days however after D&C my cycle varies from 32-33 days. IS this typical after D&C.
2) Since we started ttc again since June 06 should I consult my ob/gyn to conduct any tests or should I just wait to conceive naturally
Please advice since my ob/gyn said that any fertility tests will be conducted if there was no sucess in conceiving after 1 year of trying.
