I have heard about this concept about childhood depression for the first time. Actually it is not acceptable that depression can be observed in small school going children. But yes, I have seen children who are good at studies in the beginning and suddenly they start showing poor performance. There may be many reasons for this condition like depression to occur in children. I think that it is very rarely found in children and most of the people are not aware about it. Through such articles it is good to spread awareness and make parents alert about such disorders.
