Hey Sweet Gals,

Hope this message of mine finds you all in high spirits. Well am back from my vacation to delhi and finished my college semester too so thght of asking your welfares. As for me my state is still the same, no success and still trying. Its been a year now and I got my HSG done and everything is fine with god's grace. Got my thyroid and FSH levels checked too and all is normal touchwood!!My doc has put me on clomid 50 mg now and I had my ultrasound last friday and doc showed me two follicles sized 14 and 19 she said 19 was gud but 14 had 50/50 chance of maturing and releasing an egg and then she gave me novarel injection which wud then make me ovulate in exactly 36 hrs and then i had to time my intercourse. I actually had a question for you archie and that is, could the follicle sized 14 have released an egg and since i ovulated at 11pm in the night i had intercourse the day before tht night and the day of ovulation late night at around 12:30am..(sry for being precise :-)) and then the next day late night ...is that fine and gud timing? look fwd to hearing from you archie or anyone else who has gone thru the same circumstances or is going thru. Hope this cycle helps god willing...Many thanks in advance.

I think the 19 sized one might have led to ovulation. It was indeed a fertile time and having intercourse a day before, on the day and following day at any time should help.
Remember however, with the whole episode your spouse may have got stressed out and felt highpressure, that many time lead to poor sperm quality although otherwise he will bear a healthy quality and quantity of sperms.

Remember to keep you both relaxed help to maintain hormonal balance, although not as much still mens do get impact of stress on sperm and semen level.

clomid should be tried for six successive cycle and many cases find success anywhere in the six rounds.
