Feeding:Please advise Hetal and other moms

My daughter is 18 months now. I live in Dubai and will be travelling to India on Saturday for 2 weeks.
She does not drink milk in a bottle and dips her hands in to the glass when i do offer it, she's a breast fed baby, so i mix fresh cow milk in her break-fast and snack.

i give her whole wheat biscuits and fruit mixed with milk or oats with milk, ghee, and fruit for breakfast and for her snack i make kheer with either sweet-potato, milk ghee/cream and almond powder and cardomom or rice kheer with ghee, milk, cardomom and almond powder or steamed banana pudding.
My concern is that for all this the milk needs to be cooked, so fresh milk used during the travel would different from the one available here, as i would be travelling to Mumbai and Bangalore, hence, i'd like to know whether i could carry UHT treated or Longlife milk which i could use for her or is there any formula milk that could be used for cooking.
Any advise or suggestions would be appreciated.

about UHT treated milk, yes you can carry,,use it within 1days after opening(if at normal temp or let me say once the container is opened,,it is no longer long life or UHT milk,,it starts to go off like ordinary milk and needs to be kept in refrigerator),,,so consider that and likewse take smallest containers/serving size containers so that you dont have to worry about storing problems atleast in your travellng.....rest i think they should be available in india/metros.ask your relatives in india, about them,,by the time you reach thr,,they will be knowng about the availabily ! and likewise, you can stock up some atleast until you get them in india !

mostly in travellng overseas, by flights,,whole MILK is available in airlines,,ask your airlines about it.

all you have to do is pack her snacks in small containers/serving sized containers/ or disposable ones,,and ask the airhostess to offer you warm milk,, or warm the milk that you gave her...
alternatlyy,,,you can carry UHT milk or longlife milk(check/call them with your airlines if they are allowing such foods prods,,for snacks and dry foods they are allowng),,about formula milk,,if you are interested in carryin pwdered formula,,m not sure in dubai you get the toddler formula,,but in US we do have formula from 12months to 36months !! that you cant boil it,,but you can mix with warm water and thn mix it with the food that you are giving,,replacing whole milk...make sure the food is at the room/warm temperature and not hot ! and yes when it comes to storage and all,,pwder pack is always easy to store !!!

ne formula is not advisable to heat/or its temp should not go above WARM,,or else its harmful for consumptn..

nutritnly speaking, UHT and full cream long life milk has same food values as ordinary whole milk. and so is the case with toddler formula/provds proper nutrients..the only diff betn all of the above is that they been treated differently so they last longer thn in regular form !
i would prefer the toddler formula,,as carrying pwder and gettn water or warming water is always convinient...

thats all i would do in case of travellng with these options !
have a happy journey,,
