Most childrenar fearful of a new environment, especially if they have never been away from home and mother for long, the problem will persist for two three weeks, if he still cries then try to reason with him, find out why he does not enjoy school and talk to the teacher about how he interacts with others and is he enjoying the activities or not. I am sure by now the problem must be over, some children just take longer than others to adjust. The trick is not to give them any negative vibes about school and be firm

Dont use the word school - some children are afraid of it. Just say - youre going to meet your friends, or youre going to play in the garden!

rather than giving him reasons for going to school find out the reason for him refusing to go to school he might be having some problem with his peer group the right approach as a parent would be to meet the teacher and tell her the problem either she or as a parent u have to find the problem first it will not solve by tell him things like her is going to meet his friends
