iz it ok to feed spicy food for babies?(9 months)..my baby always eats only spicy food..if i add lil curries she wunt eat..she iz fond of spices so now i am giving her wat we eat (without chillie powder)..yday i had given her a rice for lunch which she liked very much.i will write the recipe below.plz find out which ingredient i shud avoid.

basmati rice soaked in water for 2 hrs - 1/4 cup
water - 3/4 cup
sprinkle salt
carrots,beans,peas,corn-- all together 1/4 cup ,chickenpieces - 5 tsp,1 egg yolk ,2 mushrooms-

1/4 tsp curry powder
dash of ghee

put these all together in cooker n cook for 15 min(2 whistle)

actually i prepared fried rice for us ..so i thought to prepare seperately for her to avoid too much of ghee, soy sauce etc

Hai ruby..my kids too eat what we eat.especially my daughter who is now 15 months old like all the foods veg and non veg everything.i too try to avoid green chilli, lots of tamarind, etc.if they like the food i dont think so they will have any problem, anyway i dont cook food with so much heat that kids cannot eat.on the other hand my friends kids even they are almost 6 years old, they eat chappati with cream cheese.
