i am here just to thank you for all your efforts in helping others.your tips on diet,topics about infections,constipation,vomiting and weaning helped me.there are many other topics that i cant count.

i know this post might surprise you because i have hardly asked anything from you directly.
but your replies to other people have solved my queries.my kid started losing weight when she had a severe viral infection, i was about to post my worry here.But, i found some of your replies regarding the same topics and i followed it.she has fully recoverd and has gained 500grams.thank you is a very small word.

this time my second kid didn't get any infection.i followed all you said to prevent infections between siblings, and it saved my 1-2weeks of working hours :)
i am working mother so after coming home, taking care of sick and crying kids was a big challenge.many times i have to take leave from job which affects my job.this time, it was easy as the first kid recovered fast and second one did not get infection from his sister.But, he had mild cold which i assume he got from viral infection from his sister.
he recovered in 3 days with OTC medicine just as told by you before.

now my question is should i show him to my ped to make sure he is alright ? he has recovered fully. no congestion,no cold nothing.he is eating well. i gave him Triaminic 1/4th tsp every 8 hours for past 3days. he will complete 1 year soon.did i do it right ? answer at your comfort.no hurries. my kid doing alright.i have stopped this medicine. if you tell me, i will start it again or if you tell me, i will take an appointment with my ped or should i wait for his 1 year checkup.also let me know if its required to give flu shot.

Hetal replied. good to know your child has recoverd,sry for delayd reply,,m in middle to way back home from vacation,,but stucked with flight delay probs so couldnt reply...

stop the medcine as of now,,at your 1year visit,,do let your dr know about the dosage and all that you wrote to me,,let him decide if the prob worsens further...
unless otherwise, after 2 days or by now if he has got cold again,,he needs your dr attn...
its advisable to take flu shot,,esp if you have elder sibling at home who is in school or day cares,,,,
