Dear ARCHIE, We are trying for a child for the past 6 years, and I am under treatment for the same. My doctor was about to do an IUI for my last monthly cycle but dropped it because after a blood test, it was found that there was no egg in my follicle. So we thought we would try this month. But it so happened that this time also there is no egg. What is happening? Is it anything serious? I am 31 years old now. Is there any possibility that I am undergoing menopause? I am so desperate, and worried sick about all this. Please help.

no, you are not undergoing menopause!
What's happening is you have ovulation trouble.
have tests done to investigate on PCOS and parallel to that go for ovulation inducers such as Clomid treatment.

Having struggled for six years means you have been through battery of tests and know that your spouse has no problem on his side and only the ovulation is culprit. If you have not been through tests then have reproductive endocrinology tests done on you and your spouse, more emphasis on his sperm count and quality.
