hi hetal,
my son is 6months 20 days old now. this is his daily diet plz suggest me if any changes have to be made to make it healthier.
morning- 1/2 marie crushed with milk
afternoon - khichdi with carrot
evening - rice baby biscuit and stewed apple
night - dalia milk n sugar
outside milk he hardly accept... 2 oz a day and breast feed on demand..
i wanna also ask u.. sometimes after he has eaten a gd qty he still asks for my feed.s it right to feed him.. and he doesnt take the sippi cup at tht time... i have started weaning wen he was 6 months 5 days old.. does there have to be any count on the amount of day Bfeeds now? how many should be there? thank you.

Hi

morning:replace with iron fortified cereals,with bm or formula OR fruit pureee.

Afternoon:No comments,,as and when you introduce new vegetables, start adding them to your khichadi.

other ideas about introducng other meal times is in the links below...

evening : avoid offering fruit in evenings..visit the post just below yours for 6months old diet ideas and your plans until 9months.

bf on demand,irrespective of how good or bad your baby apetite is or how much he eats a particular day....same goes with formula,,his intake will slowly increase to some level every 10days or so,,and growth spurts which are weekly makes them eat abit more than thr normal feeds or intakes,,
your baby primary food is still bm or formula...so dont let it go....

i had one thought after reading ur post so sharing it ..

see if u can replace marie biscuit with something healthier.

I know this option contains milk too .. but a biscuit can always have a healthier option like banana/oatmeal/ragi/daliya/cerelac/nestum rice etc

also, we cant b sure abt a readymade market item's contents. So why not let it be homecooked and healthier?

i think the message posted just before you also enquired about 6m baby's diet .. see if that helps.
