Hi Everybody,

My daughter is 17 months Old now and has got 3 upper teeth and 1 1/2 bottom. I have started giving her brush & training paste but she doesn;t let me touch her teeth :( I try cleaning them with my index finger when she gets up in the morning. But is this enough as she has started eating all kinds of food now.

Please give ur advice/suggestions.

Hetal replied. as far as she is lettng you brush the teeth,its fine,,there are infant finger brush that comes often along with infant toothpaste/gerber is mostly available,in US,,and these are jst the right start,,they fit in your first finger and have lil soft bristlesss...they clean thr teeth well..they are available everywhere including major cities of india!

once your baby is comfortable to this brushing idea,,make it more interestng by brushing your teeth before her,and after your turn of brushing her,,allow her to do it by herself...make funny faces and funny sounds,,and make expressions that gives her a feel of excitment..and it often works...
once she is ok with finger brush, start her on toddler brush,buy 2, give her 1 and you take the one,,let it be together thing,,and fun time.
