I am a mom of 5 mo. old twins boy and girl. Boy baby is fine with food, cries for it and has it like even 6 oz at a time. Girl baby was less weight than boy to begin with and from last 10 days the girl baby has started to take only half of her regular amt. it was 4 ozs every 3 hrs now she takes 2 and after that cries if we continue. We will wait for like even 1 hour and feed her the rest. She used to finish the 4 ozs in 5 mins before. This is same with bm or formula. We took her to dr. and at 4 mo. she was 12lb6ozs, now she is only 13. The dr. says she is suffering from reflux. She had it before and was on pepcid 4cc twice a day, now the dr asked to increase it to 8cc twice a day. The dr. also said to start with rice cereal. I tried to give it today, 1 tsp of rice cereal mixed with 4-5 tsps of bm, she was crying like anything . I almost forced it on her. I am worried about her intake and also the weight gain. What can I do at this time? Please suggest. The weight diff. between the boy and girl has been growing, he is 15 lb now.
