Behavioural Problems:my 9 months old son refuses to sleep
2004-03-01
Name: Phani & manju

My 9-month-old son always wants to play and never likes to sleep. Both in the day and night he sleeps only for 6 to 7 hours. There were few days when my wife and me played with him up to 4 AM. This is hampering my day in office. My son's sleeping schedule is not consistent please help us.

i can imagine how exhausting it is for you.
1.avoid wheat formula for dinner , try a rice based cereal as it is supposed to induce a feeling of satiety and induce sleep.
2.give a warm bath and use dim lighting an hour before bedtime to tell ur baby that its sleeptime.
3. do not play loud music or tv that will excite baby.
4. use a playpen which is safe for baby to play in, until he is tired so that you can catch up on some sleep till then.
all the best and let me know if this helped.
